Grant
Hey y’all. I’m Grant. I’ve had animals(grew up in the country with all sorts of “critters”) in my life since birth. I say critters as I’ve had squirrels, snakes, bullfrogs, and snapping turtles as pets…
Read More…I’ve cared for friend and family pets off and on for decades… Needless to say, I love animals. I really can’t think of any I would shy away from. No matter how exotic or large.
As a sitter, I strive to make your pets, and plants, lol, feel at home and at ease. It’s not always easy when your humans are gone. Luckily, Dad was a dog lover, and Mama can tame feral cats. I got a little of both genes in me.
Very good with Pit Bulls and larger breeds
Kyle
My name is Kyle and I’ve been working with Crate Escape since February 2020 but I’ve been a client since before the business became what it is today. I’m a lifelong animal lover and advocate…
Read More…My husband and I have two dogs and two cats that we love dearly and are spoiled rotten! All of them were rescued in one way or another, one of which (our first cat) Karen had found and fostered about 8 years go. Getting to meet and take care of your animals is my dream job and something I take very seriously! Rest assured knowing that I will take just as much care with your pets as I do with my own!
Michelle
Michelle is a working mom of two daughters, one son, and four cats. She has always had a love for animals and feels so deeply for them that she tries to help out any she sees in need…
Read More…She’s a cat person that also loves dogs. Michelle started dog sitting a few years ago and joined Crate Escape to work weekends.
Tabitha
My name is Tabitha. My love for Animals goes back to when I was younger with family dogs and my little zoo I have now with Dogs, Cats, Guinea pigs and Aquatic things as well.. I have yet to meet an animal that I don’t love and treat them all as I would my own.. Excited to finally get to work with animals everyday. I can’t wait to meet each and every animal I will get to work with.
Read More…to support my dreams. I own a ridiculous amount of pets. I have a soft spot for exotics, but I hold true to being a dog lover at heart.

Are you interested in being a team member with Crate Escape Jonesboro? Here’s some info for you:
We are a petsitting and dog walking business licensed and registered by the city as well as insured and bonded since 2014. As of now we only serve clients in the city limits of Jonesboro and therefore we really like our sitters to also be residing in Jonesboro for ease of travel and availability. Unfortunately, that means that if you live in an outlining town or another state We are not a good fit for each other and your application would not be considered going forward.
Because of our insurance Sitters must be at least 18 years old but we prefer that you actually be over the age of 21 just because of the nature of the business.
We take care of clients in the safety and comfort of their own home. Sitters make 30 minute visits with clients at scheduled times. These are generally early morning, Midday, and bedtime. There are different schedules but Most follow the schedule or something very similar.
A sitter will earn at least 50% of services fee provided. Currently sitters make $11 per vacation visit or walk. Here’s a link to the services:Services and Rates
Sitters get 100% of their tips and all of the holiday surcharges ($5 per visit.)
You would be contracted as an independent contractor with no withholdings out of checks. If you earn more than $600 you will be issued a 1099 Misc form for your taxes.
Our schedule fluctuates daily depending on clients’ needs and reservations. Because of this earnings will vary as well.
Work week is Wednesday to Tuesday. Direct deposit usually arrives in your account on Friday.
You supply your own transportation, health insurance and phone. We use an online database to share client info and do schedules plus a camera is essential to take photos of clients for updates to their families and for posting to social media.
If you have not had a criminal background check in the last year we need to put one on file. These are usually about $30.
Petsitters see clients from 6 am through 10 pm 365 days per year. Holidays are usually the busiest times for us.
At any given time we have between 7 and 12 sitters.
If you’re still interested in applying please complete this questionnaire below in the next seven days.

OUR CLIENT SAYS
They are great at what they do and my pups are always healthy and happy when we return.

Our pets are usually anxiety ridden when we go on vacation. While using Crate Escape they thought they were the ones on vacation! We couldn’t have been happier with the care provided to our pets and home!
Audrey M
We used to board our cat with the vet’s office but decided to try Crate Escape. What a difference! Our cat was calm and relaxed in our own home. No stress about travel and the journal updates and photos made us feel so much at ease.
Susan R
Reliable, responsible and most importantly, love our babies as their own!
Chandler H
I never have to worry about my babies when Crate Escape is taking care of them.
Janet B
We tell everyone about Crate Escape! We tell them what great care at a ready price you provide.
Ashley H
We have some unusual pets and there is a sitter with experience caring for them. It means a lot to us that Karen has a team that can handle our specific needs plus our “regular” fur babies. We always feel confident knowing they are cared for like we would.
